Hello, I'm Barry Blundell. As a civil marriage celebrant I share some of the most meaningful and joyful times in people's lives. But more importantly, I feel a real sense of accomplishment in helping couples to realise their vision for their perfect wedding day. Choosing a marriage celebrant gives you the opportunity to have your wedding, where and when you want it and what you want in your ceremony.

A lot goes into the planning and preparation for a wedding and these days the task is often left to the bride and groom. As most partners within relationships today need to work, little time is left in the day to organise a wedding. I'm here to help and make it that little bit easier for you to plan the finer details of your ceremony, suitable to your cultural background, wishes and desires.

My role of a Marriage Celebrant / Civil Celebrant is to listen to your wants, needs and desires for your wedding or other ceremony and do my very best to make those requirements come true for you. However, when it comes to weddings, most couples don't have a clear idea of what they want. If you and your partner fall into this category, don't worry, I can help you with ideas to spark your imagination and I am ready to help you create your perfect wedding day.  

I have been fully trained by the Academy of Celebrancy Australia and have been authorised and registered as a Civil Marriage Celebrant by the Australian Government's Attorney General's office in 2009. I am a member of two civil marriage celebrant associations; the South East Australian Marriage Celebrants Association Inc. and the Australian Celebrants and Celebrations Network (ACCN).

Civil Celebrant prices do vary according to each celebrant's demographic location, style and types of ceremonies on offer. Since I am located in a rural/regional area, in all consciousness, I believe that I can not charge any of my new or existing clients the earth for their civil ceremony.
